About Navy Children School Mumbai

Navy Children School is a co-educational school for classes from Stds I to XII and is located in the Navy Nagar at Colaba. This school was commissioned on 14 November 1989 by Mrs. Krishna Jain, President, Naval Wives Welfare Association and follows CBSE curriculum.

Founded in 1984, it is run by the Navy Education Society NES and administered by the Headquarters, Western Naval Command. It prepares pupils for examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

The Navy Children School aims at the overall development of each student’s personality, laying emphasis on the inculcation of a rational outlook. The school endeavours to achieve academic excellence amongst the students and the development of an insatiable thirst for knowledge. It also aims at promoting the basic human values of life.

To be a leading school in India which grooms children of the Naval Community to be individuals with active and creative minds. To nurture in students, a sense of compassion and basic human values as they learn and acquire life skills.
